The Strategic Council of the Portuguese Bank for the Promotion of Development has officially taken office.
Nuno Amado, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Millennium BCP, is the Chairman of the new Strategic Council, which will be supported by 19 (nineteen) Vice-Chairs, renowned personalities in the business and financial sectors.
The swearing-in session was attended by the Minister of Economy, Manuel Castro Almeida, at the opening, and the Minister of State and Finance, Joaquim Miranda Sarmento, at the closing. The session also included interventions by Gonçalo Regalado, CEO of BPF, and Paulo Macedo, CEO of Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
The BPF Strategic Council strengthens the Bank's commitment to being a driver of Portugal's economic development, supporting innovation, growth, competitiveness, and the internationalisation of national businesses.
