Participation of Luís Guimarães in “The Next Big Idea”

Luís Guimarães, CCO of Banco Português de Fomento, took part in an episode of The Next Big Idea, where he highlighted the strategic importance of data centres as a key industry for positioning Portugal at the forefront of artificial intelligence, and underlined the important role of BPF in financing the AtlasEdge Campus Data Centres, a large-scale, high-impact strategic project for the country.

The episode also features the participation of Sword Health and Automaise, companies invested in by BPF through the Venture Capital Programme, which demonstrate how AI is being applied with real impact in sectors such as healthcare and customer service.
