Merger completed: SGM – Mutual Guarantee Society, S.A. is born

The merger by incorporation of the companies within the Banco Português de Fomento Group—Agrogarante – Mutual Guarantee Society, S.A., Garval – Mutual Guarantee Society, S.A., and Lisgarante – Mutual Guarantee Society, S.A.—into SGM – Mutual Guarantee Society, S.A. has been concluded, with the entity adopting the new name SGM – Mutual Guarantee Society, S.A.

This milestone represents a new chapter for the Mutual Guarantee System, fostering a more integrated and robust organization, better prepared to meet the future challenges of the business ecosystem. It also reflects renewed energy and a strengthened commitment to companies, entrepreneurs, partners, the economy, and Portugal.
