Happy International Women’s Day

On 8 March, International Women’s Day, we celebrate the diversity, talent and collective energy of the Fomento Teams with the launch of a special video.

 

We celebrate with a healthy dose of humour, but with a clear purpose: to reaffirm Banco Português de Fomento’s People First culture — inclusive, built on cooperation and mutual support, where everyone can contribute, grow and evolve.

 

Currently, Women represent 54% of our Employees, and the Bank has achieved parity with 23 Women and 23 Men in leadership positions, a balance that is also reflected on the Board of Directors. This is a picture that reflects our ongoing commitment to equal opportunities and equal treatment, supported by transparent policies on Careers, Training, Remuneration and Performance Evaluation, applicable to everyone without gender distinction, as well as by remote working models and flexible working hours that promote a healthy balance between professional, family and personal life.
