Goodbye Web Summit 2025
. 2025-11-17Banco Português de Fomento Group participated in the Web Summit as an official partner — and, for the first time, with its own stand bringing together the Teams of all Fomento Entities: Banco Português de Fomento, Norgarante, Lisgarante, Garval, Agrogarante, Portugal Ventures, SOFID and FOMENTO SGOIC.
A representation of the Sovereign Bank of Portugal at the world’s largest event on Technology and Innovation, demonstrating the strength of a united BPF Group driven by a common purpose — serving Companies, the Economy and the Country — proud of the work carried out and capable of placing Portugal and Portuguese companies on a global stage.
It was three intense days of enthusiasm, energy, sharing and proximity at our stand:
- We welcomed the Minister of the Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Manuel Castro Almeida, and the Minister Adjunct and for State Reform, Gonçalo Saraiva Matias
- We invited 48 portfolio companies to present their pitches
- We hosted 10 talks featuring 24 national and international speakers
- We presented the Fomento Entities and the BPF solutions, showcasing the breadth of our offering
- We celebrated 2 new investments under the Deal-by-Deal Co-investment Programme, in the companies Vale da Rosa - Sociedade Agrícola, Lda., and Musiversal
- We discovered new ideas and projects, explored investment opportunities, strengthened partnerships, and promoted extensive networking
