BPF renews Pre-Approved Guarantees, extending support to more than 147 thousand companies

The Portuguese Development Bank (BPF) is renewing and issuing new financing limits under the Pre-Approved Guarantees initiative, extending support to more than 147,000 companies.

After launching the initiative in 2025 with the issuance of Pre-Approved Guarantees to 125,000 companies, amounting to €24 billion in potential financing, BPF is now reinforcing and expanding the measure:
  • Issuing Pre-Approved Guarantees to over 147,000 companies
  • Providing more than €41 billion in potential financing
  • Guarantees ready to be activated at Commercial Banks or Mutual Guarantee Societies
  • Exclusive conditions and a simpler, faster process for companies
To know which line(s) they can activate the Pre-Approved Guarantee on, eligible companies should contact their Commercial Bank or the Mutual Guarantee Society (SGM).
