BPF paves the way for the DFI business: Road to RENMOZ 2026, Brussels

Luís Guimarães, Chief Commercial Officer of the Portuguese Development Bank (BPF), and Diana Sá from the International Investment Department, attended the Road to RENMOZ event, with Luís Guimarães participating in the panel "Financiers and Private Sector Market Experience."

The BPF team had the opportunity to meet some of the major players in the African sector and continue preparing investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector across the continent. This is part of an integrated approach combining development financing and support for internationalisation, leveraging BPF’s upcoming hybrid DFI/ECA profile, to be implemented during 2026.

The event brought together representatives from governments, international financial institutions, private investors, energy companies, and development partners.
