BPF at the Session “Competitiveness & Decarbonization – The Future of the Portuguese Chemical Industry”

BPF attended the session "Competitiveness & Decarbonization – The Future of the Portuguese Chemical Industry,” held at the Estarreja Chemical Complex and organized by APQuímica – the Portuguese Association of the Chemical, Petrochemical, and Refining Industries.

Manuel Queiroz Ribeiro, Corporate Director for Sustainability and International Investment, highlighted that sustainability is deeply embedded in BPF’s DNA as a public development bank, with a mission to financially support the decarbonization of the chemical, petrochemical, and refining sectors.

BPF’s contribution focused on financing conditions and the various financial instruments that promote innovation, efficiency, and emissions reduction, while ensuring companies’ economic viability and resilience.
