Azores Participative Capital II: BPF Signs Protocol with Novo Banco Açores

Within the framework of the Azores Participative Capital II (CPA II) Program, BPF signed the protocol with Novo Banco dos Açores to extend the program’s availability throughout the Azores.

Launched in partnership with the Regional Government of the Azores, through the Azores Business Capitalization Fund (FCEA) managed by BPF, the CPA II has a total allocation of €50 million and aims to stimulate the growth and expansion of Azorean SMEs, Mid-Caps, and Large Companies through direct investment and financing operations, in co-investment with private investors, promoting investment, growth, and financial autonomy of the regional business ecosystem.

The protocol signing took place at the headquarters of Novo Banco Açores in Ponta Delgada and was attended by Duarte Freitas, Regional Secretary for Finance, Planning, and Public Administration; Gonçalo Regalado, CEO of BPF; and Gualter Furtado and Marta Guerreiro, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Novo Banco dos Açores.
