2nd "Conversas com Fomento" | Together, strengthening Portuguese businesses

The 2nd edition of "Conversas com Fomento" filled Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, on 25 February 2026, bringing together more than 900 Entrepreneurs, political decision-makers and institutional leaders in a space for dialogue on the future of the Portuguese economy, reinforcing BPF’s role as a catalyst for innovation, investment and competitiveness.
Gonçalo Regalado, CEO of BPF, highlighted the main achievements and impacts of the Bank’s activity on the national economy in 2025, the vision and strategic pillars of the Sovereign Bank up to 2028, and the impact objectives set for 2026.
Together, we reflected on and debated the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the national economy, with valuable contributions on central topics such as innovation, competitiveness, investment and artificial intelligence.
The event was attended by the Minister Delegate and for State Reform, Gonçalo Saraiva Matias, and the Deputy Secretary of State for the Budget, José Brandão de Brito.
